THE BIGGER PICTURE
Wolves were Jota's first club in England when he signed on an initial loan deal from Atletico Madrid in 2017. He was a key part of the Wanderers side which won promotion to the Premier League, going on to make 131 appearances and scoring 44 goals in three years with the club as the West Midlands side solidified themselves in the top flight with two successive seventh-placed finishes. Jota then moved to Liverpool for £45m in 2020.
